Kelly Bires is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who has a love and desire to know people deeply and help them feel comfortable in their own skin. Having been a counseling client herself, she appreciates the counseling relationship for bringing truth, reflection, and comfort to her own life and desires to bring her clients the same love and curiosity that she was shown. Kelly believes that healing happens in the context of relationship, and finds great value in walking alongside people as they pursue health, healing and freedom.
Kelly is dedicated to meeting people exactly where they are, and to creating a safe and welcoming environment in which healing can occur. Kelly is mindful to incorporate evidence-based treatment into her counseling in order to help clients meet their goals. Ultimately, Kelly desires to love others and help them walk through life’s difficulties. Kelly uses evidence-based treatment techniques with her clients, combining techniques from various therapy approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
